School Rules

  • The Almanac must be carried daily to school.
  • School begins at 8.00 a.m.(I-XII) and 9.00 a.m. (Nur-KG) Children are expected to be in school by 7.55 a.m.(I-XII) and 8:55 a.m.(Nur-KG).(If a child comes late to school for the third time she will be sent back home.)
  • Order must be the hallmark of the school. Once a student enters a classroom, no child is allowed to roam around.
  • Each student is required to carry the books as per the time table for the day. No books (other than textbooks or library books), magazines or papers should be brought to school.
  • Any willful damage to school property i.e. furniture, apparatus and everything within the school premises will enforce punitive measure and must be compensated for.
  • It is not advisable to bring valuable articles to school. Expensive watches, costly fountain pens and expensive and fancy pencil boxes are not permitted. The school is not responsible for goods lost. No jewellery of any kind is permissible.
  • The Celebration of birthdays is prohibited in the school. Students are not allowed to come to school in a casual or party dress on their birthday. Distribution of gifts is not permitted. A student may distribute toffees or sweets ONLY on her birthday.
  • Mobile phones, I-pods and cameras are strictly banned in the school premises.(Disciplinary action will be taken against the one carrying it.)
  • CD/DVD or cassettes are not allowed in the school. Any exchange of these would incur strict punishment.
  • The school will not entertain any request for sending the child in another route after school on the pretext of any function at a relative’s or friend’s place.
  • In case a child meets with an accident, the school will provide first aid only.
  • Any student who violates school rules and disrupts the discipline of the school, will not be allowed to attend the school. The Principal has the right to take appropriate disciplinary action against the student concerned.
  • A proper leave application written and duly signed by the parents should reach the class teacher either prior to or after an absence. The school has the authority not to allow a child entry in class if she does not submit a leave application.
  • No request will be entertained (except in case of an emergency) for the child to leave early on any pretext especially on the day of any assessment. This disrupts and hampers the smooth functioning of the school. Appointments with doctors, dentists and other medical personnel must be arranged after school hours only.
  • It is essential that all students from Nursery to Class XII attend school on the day the new session commences and on the last day of the close of the session. No absence will be allowed before and after holidays/ vacations or on school functions and examinations/ assessments. No exception will be made unless a prior written permission of the Principal has been obtained.
  • Students indulging in loud and unbecoming language, ill befitting a young lady will be strictly dealt with by the Discipline Committee of the school.
  • Disciplinary action will be taken against the student caught cheating or using unfair means during an assessment / examination. It may also lead to her expulsion.
  • Students who stay away from activity classes like PT, Art Education, Library etc will be dealt with severely.
  • Students are accountable to the school authorities for their behaviour both in school and out of school, particularly when they are in their school uniform.
  • If a student is found outside the school premises during working hours without the written permission of the school authorities, the Principal will be forced to take very strict disciplinary action which, if deemed fit by the management, may lead to expulsion.
  • The application of Mehandi on the hands is strictly PROHIBITED. Disciplianry action will be taken against any student found with mehandi on her hands.

Guidelines for Parents

  • Parents are not allowed to see their children or meet the teachers during school hours.Parents are permitted to meet teachers, only with a prior appointment made through school diary, on 1st and 3rd Saturday between 9.00 am to 1.00 pm
  • The PTM days are already marked in the academic planner. In case of any change, the same will be intimated well in time. The timings for the PTM will be 08:30 am – 11:30 am.Parents must not request entry after 11:30 a.m. Parents will be allotted time slots before each PTM and are requested to strictly adhere to these timings to ensure smooth functioning of the system. Parents must bring along the parental I-card whenever they come to school especially on the days of the PTM.No entry will be allowed without the parental I-card.
  • Every parent should attend the PTM to discuss the progress of their child. You are required to be in touch with the teachers in   order to monitor the behaviour and progress of the child.
  • Parents should check the diary regularly. Remarks for circulars, worksheet, invitation and homework assigned, should be signed and countersigned so as to avoid putting your child through any inconvenience. 
  • Appointment with doctors, dentists etc. must be made after school hours/during holidays.
  • Parents are not allowed to see their children or meet the teachers during school hours.  
  • Parents are requested to send lunch box/art/craft material or any other material required along with the student only. Any packet sent to the school later will not be accepted for security reasons.
  • Parents are requested to co-operate with the school in case a child is required to stay back after school hours to practice/participate in academics, sports and co-curricular activities whenever required.

Summer Uniform – Kindergarten

  • 1. Shirts- red & blue check Half sleeves
  • 2. Skirts- Beige coloured with pleats with gallas. The pleats have the patches of the shirt in between.
